I wanted to keep everyone in the loop about a new beauty product I’ve decided to try. A few months ago I tried BeautyCounter’s Countertime Regimen and while I really did enjoy the products overall, I decided to switch up my routine a bit. The Countertime Regimen primarily focuses on caring for aging skin by brightening and tightening the face, hydrating the face, etc. One of my only criticisms of the Countertime Regimen was the Lipid Defense Cleansing Oil did not completely agree with my skin type. It left my skin feeling super oily (I mean, that’s the point…) and I was just not the biggest fan. Other parts of the regimen were amazing, though, such as the Countertime Tetrapeptide Supreme Cream. I absolutely love this evening cream and will definitely continue to use it in my daily routine.
This time around I wanted to try a regimen that focused primarily on combatting oily skin and attacking breakouts, and like always, I wanted to stick with a cleaner option. I’ve been very happy with Beautycounter and all of the products I’ve tried so I decided to stick with this brand.
The new regimen I am trying is the Countercontrol Regimen, and it includes the Countercontrol Clear Pore Cleanser, the Countercontrol Instant Matte Toner, the Countercontrol All Over Acne Treatment, and the Countercontrol Matte Effect Gel Cream.
This post is just an update, so stay tuned for a full review soon!
