Hello, everyone! I hope everyone is having an awesome week and a smooth start to the school year. In my most recent post I talked about how excited we were for the upcoming fall and winter months, and I’m even more excited to tell you that we’re having a baby!
It’s been hard keeping such a secret, and now that I’m officially in my second trimester we are ready to announce it to anyone who will listen, haha!
We found out in late June (like two days after school let out for the year) and it’s been very exciting around here since. Little Daniel is very excited to be a big brother but he is very confused on where the baby is and keeps asking which store we have to get the baby at. 😂 It’s so cute and beautiful to watch how curious he is about the new life and my growing belly.
We also found out that it’s going to be another little baby boy! So, yes: I am still firmly in place as a “boy mom.” (I think at some point I am going to write a post about this title because I cannot believe the amount of negativity around “boy moms” on the internet!)
In the next few days I’m going to post about my first trimester experience as well as an essentials list so be on the lookout for some new content coming up. In general, I forgot a lot about the physical side of pregnancy (I mean, they do say you forget…) and a lot took me by surprise.
So, there you have it! We’re so excited to finally announce we’re having a baby and can’t wait to share the journey with everyone.
