I cannot believe that the “holiday season” is officially over. I put “holiday season” in quotes because I am referring to the time between Halloween and New Year’s when the days are busy and blurred together and everyone is putting up Christmas trees and stuffing turkeys and running around like madmen. I always find that as quickly as the holiday season rolls in, it rolls out. Before we know it the holidays are over and we’re waiting for the first warm days of spring and Easter.
However, another holiday exists in the meantime, namely Valentine’s Day!
Valentine’s Day gets a bad wrap nowadays as being a StUpId cOmMeRcIaL HoLiDaY, but I love it. I think it’s so fun and romantic to have a whole day dedicated to love and relationships. I find negativity around any specific holiday to be silly and cynical and I have no time for it. Give me all the chocolate hearts and love poems and call me Cupid!

For the Classic Romantic
